I take immense pleasure to write on the behalf of Joint Director of Tamanna Institute about the best of best Paramedical college & Nursing School in the North U.P. The TIAHS was established in the year 2002 with the intention of quality medical education in the field of Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, and Radiology & Imaging in collaboration with Allahabad Agricultural Institute (Now SHIATS). In the year 2006, we added State Medical Faculty courses recognized by Govt. of U.P. The courses were added DPT, DOpt, GNM and ANM. At present, we have approx 400 students in the institute of different stream. The motto of the institute is “We give the best, we produce the best”. We are committed for the quality education. We have dedicated and hard working faculty members for different courses. We prepare the professionals with strict discipline. No compromise with attendance & regular class mode. A part from the education, we also provide a concrete platform for personality development by different extracurricular activities like Debate competition, Chart and model competition, Hindi elocution, Seminars, Conferences, Outdoor tours, Sports week, Acting workshop and different culture activities. Optometry is a primary healthcare profession which involves examining the eye and applicable visual systems for defects or abnormalities as well as medical diagnosis and management of eye disease. Traditionally the field of optometry began with the primary forms of correcting refractive error, through the use of spectacles. Modern day optometry, however, has evolved through time educational curriculum additionally included intensive medical training in the diagnosis & management of ocular disease in countries where the profession is established and regulated.
The world council of optometry, world health organization and about 75 optometry organization from over 40 countries all over the world adopted the following definition to be used to describe optometry and optometrist. And optometrist, also called a doctor of optometry or O.D. for short, provides primary vision care. Who diagnoses and treats eye diseases and disorders. If the patient needs vision correction, an optometrist will prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses.
Some optometrist specializes in particular clientele, for example pediatric or geriatric patients, or a type of treatments such as low vision or post operative care. 2,50,000 optometrist in all over the world according to at present time according to world council optometrist.
Optometrist offers an average net income of $ 122,667 across the profession. The optical industry is one of Europe’s ten largest jobs. Many multinational companies have come in this department, their sole is important in which contact lenses, spectacles & Frames. The demand for optometrist in this digital time is going to increase further.
