General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
The course is a 3-year full-time diploma program affiliated with the Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow and approved by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying exam and in English individually from any recognized board.
- Candidates from State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and NIOS (Central Government) are also eligible.
- Science stream is preferable. Percentage can be calculated from 3 core/elective subjects excluding English, but English must be passed.
- 10+2 with English and 40% marks in Vocational ANM course from an INC-recognized school.
- 10+2 with English and 40% marks in Vocational Stream - Healthcare Science from a recognized CBSE/State/Central board.
- Registered ANMs with pass marks are also eligible.
Extension:
Students who fail to clear the annual faculty examinations are given up to 5 years to complete the diploma.
