Physiotherapy Session Exercise Room Rehabilitation

Our Physiotherapy Unit

Physiotherapy is the treatment and prevention of injury and disease through natural means. It is a healthcare profession focused on the assessment, maintenance, and restoration of the body’s physical function and performance.

Physiotherapy can be performed both independently and alongside medical or surgical treatments. It aims to alleviate pain, restore normal movement patterns, and bring the body back to a state of balance without chemical intervention. By using techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and electrotherapy, physiotherapists help patients achieve quicker and complication-free recovery.

In the state of Uttar Pradesh, there are approximately 205 million people with neurological and physical disabilities. However, there is a significant shortage of trained physiotherapists. This highlights the demand and career prospects for skilled professionals in this field.

The demand for rehabilitation services is rapidly increasing, especially in the rural areas. Government has created positions for physiotherapists in district hospitals, and there is also a growing need in Community Health Centers (CHCs), private hospitals, and nursing homes.
